Helpless Infant Imprint Theory

“The Helpless Infant Imprint Theory”

My point here is not to argue for or against the existence of God.
I took a personal interest in
human mythology
for my own evolution and subconscious cleansing,
and at one point I had to figure out for myself
why almost every human tribe or society creates/sees/imagines a ‘God’ or ‘gods’.

In 2004 after years of intensive study and reading,
I created my own personal theory I entitled

The ‘Helpless Infant Imprint’

(the condensed explanation)

Every human ever born (that survived) spends at least the first two years of their life dependent on superior beings (parents/adult guardians) to feed and bathe them (and if they’re fortunate – nuture them)…take care of them in EVERY way.

This experience creates the first subconscious impression before even words are learned and language is developed.

This initial primal impression would be one of ‘helplessness’ and the existence of superior beings,
and
these ‘superior’ beings take care of me, look out for me, and supply me with what I need.

I believe this imprint is not only responsible for the human creation of God(s) in almost all tribes and societies throughout
history and today
BUT
is also a key element in our primal feelings of codependance and insecurity in our human experience.

PS: Also the reality of the collective subjective consciousness
underlying our individual experiences ( we have an underlying sense
we are all connected…one essence ) gives each person the feeling
that something larger than their ‘individual’ consciousness exists and
adds to the mythology of a larger being who we personify.
